Five Years ago, in March 2015, I went to my first ever Womens Expo in Zurich. I was looking for inspiration, wanting to see what these amazing women & mums were doing in their 'spare time'. I wandered around, collecting pamphlets, meeting ladies from various parts of the world and I felt wonderfully energized by them all.

A week later in April 2015, I decided I didn't want to have any conflict of interest selling someone else's brand of products. So I started my own skincare line. This was the birth of Essentially Lili - 100% As Natural As You Skincare, using only natural ingredients and essential oils. What a journey it has been since then.

On Sunday 24th of March 2019 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Zurich, I had the opportunity to be one of those Exhibitors. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet amazing people from everywhere in the world and reconnect with ladies I know from other business groups. The best part was seeing my 12 year old daughter Jaan helping me out with her Swiss German.

To all of you who stopped by to try, sample, touch, feel and chat with us, the Aussie-Italians living in Zurich, THANK-YOU! I hope you loved the products you have with you. Please drop me a line to let me know how you are going with them.

Some of the Favourites at the Expo were the Geranium Hands & Body Butter, Lime Foot Repair, Youth Face Balm, Magic Serum for Acne, Oasis Serum for Scalp Psoriasis, Frankincense Face Serum, Nourishing Face Balm, Cool Eyes and the Concentration Buddy Inhaler.

Samples of Evanesce Balm, Renew Balm for Eczema and Sun Kissed Balm for Sunspots were also requested, together with the 'Dream It Wish It Love It Box'.

Sharing tips on how to have soft hands, trying products to see how far one drop of Concentrated Serum actually goes, together with showing how to apply the face balms is all part of the fun meeting me / Essentially Lili in person. And for those that came by and saw me yakking away (talking a lot) with everyone, I'm so sorry. That Aussie/Italian thing is really ingrained in me!!!

The fab thing about the Expo is being face to face with you!! Having you smell, feel and touch the products to see what they are like on your skin. And for you to ask questions too, not only about the skincare products, but how to resolve issues and concerns you have.

On the day, I was not wearing any foundation. I had my Cool Eyes around the frame of the eyes, Frankincense Face Serum to boost my skin, topped with Nourishing Face Balm. On my body, I had Jazz Body Butter with Peppermint Feet keeping them feeling soft and hydrated. Then a little eyeliner and lipstick and I was good to go, feeling hydrated, fresh and not needing to reapply throughout the day.

What we use normally in my family: My son and daughter both use the Natural Baby Moisturising Oil all year around to keep their skin hydrated, and Evanesce Balm with Magic Serum if she needs it.   My husband has his own Shaving Gel which I make, then uses the Aftershave Serum and Hydrating Face Balm, with an extra dose of Sandalwood. This Essential Oil is not only wonderful but also reminds us of our days living in Dubai 15 years ago. At night time I use the Cypress Cleansing Balm or the Sunflower Cleanser, whilst once a week, we have a chillax session with the Coloured Clays.

All the pampering takes very little time to do - whether it's cleansing and applying your face balms at night time, or applying clays.   So don't ever think it will take too long, as this is your Home Spa sessions that treats your skin and makes you feel great.

Also made the Concentration Buddy Inhaler which was pleasantly accepted at the Expo. Suitable for kids aged 8 years and over, the ingredients include Eucalyptus, Spike Lavender, Ginger, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang and Lemon Essential Oil to assist with concentrating, brain fog and breathing issues like Asthma. If you have this product, I look forward to your feedback regarding this new product.

Remember that you can Mix and Match what you like. A lot of the products are Unisex, though some are made specifically for Men.   Start with your skin type vs how young / old you are!   For example, ensure that you cleanse at night time - we have 2 to choose from - Cypress Cleansing Balm or Sunflower Cleanser. if you have Acne with redness all over your cheeks, then you would look for the relevant product - Evanesce Balm or Vitamin Rich Womens Face Balm, with Magic Serum.
